20059 and 20188

David Coombs photo of 20188 and 20059 at Bewdley after a successful test work in multiple 21/08/11.  A second successful test followed.

20059 and 20188 will be multied up as a pair on Bank Holiday Saturday complete with a Jolly Fisherman Headboard as part of the Severn Valley Railway Seaside Special Weekend.  Other diesel turns are:

28/8 Class 37 – 37906

29/8 Class 50 – 50031 ‘Hood’

All 3 days they will cover these departures.

Kidderminster: 9.55am & 1.30pm Bridgnorth: 11.55am & 3.40pm

31101 was successfully started up during the afternoon of the 18th August after some considerable time out of service for engine repairs. Suburban Preservation would like to thank Simon and Adrian of HTRS for their advice and support during this time and an extra special thanks to them today for getting her fired up after we had to head home!!!

D400 / 50 050
More bodywork repairs were carried out on 50050 at Yeovil during the last weekend. We have made a start on B side of the loco.  The cabside was removed by one of our members ahead of contractors arriving later in the week to replace the framework and reskin the cabside.  The following three photos are courtesy and credited to D400 Fund.
