37679 has moved from the Northampton & Lamport Railway to Burton for assessment and repairs.

Nemesis Rail will develop Burton Rail Depot for maintenance, repair, overhaul and storage of traction and rolling stock & welcome enquiries for contract overhaul and repair work on most rail vehicles from locomotives to coaching stock & wagons.

D7076 is progressing well with the rebuild and should be test running from this coming Sunday onwards in preparation for the ELR Diesel Gala the following weekend.

Turbos and other anciliary equipment were fitted last weekend.

Deltic 22 finally reached the Far North last weekend, at the third time of trying. The two previous attempts being thwarted by the power unit issues of 2006 & 2007.

This time Royal Scot’s Grey powered a SRPS Railtours Linlithgow-Thurso-Wick-Linlithgow tour throughout, on Friday 17th & Saturday 18th June, a tour extending to around 27 hours.
