The bodywork overhaul and repaint of D444 is almost complete, just minor finishing touches to be carried out. The quality of the repaint can be seen in the following photograph by Mike Matthews. Further details can be found on www.d444.co.uk

41001 – “Project Miller”
There are plenty of photos of the pointy end of 41 001 (43 000 / ADB 975812) , Robin Morel has kindly sent over the following photo to illustrate the 125 Group’s recent press release showing the inner end driving position and conventional drawgear.

45133 Golden Anniversary
The loco worked services at the Midland Railway Centre on 14th/15th May and carried a special headboard to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the loco being built at Derby works in 1961. Both photos courtesy of Steve Dexter.
