D9523
D9523 was delivered to the Derwent Valley Light Railway yesterday (Thursday 21st) from Washwood Heath in Birmingham.

The sale of the locomotive to two of the railways members has been kept quiet until the locomotive arrived at the railway.  The locomotive, along with D9516 which moved to the Wensleydale Railway, was owned by the late Gerald Boden and was previously at the Nene Valley Railway.  Further details can be found on the railways website
