Bodywork repairs continue at Cardiff.  The Head code panels are now removed, as is the No 1 end drivers side bodyside number panel.  Realistic bids are invited for the number panel & replica worksplate.  Further details can be found here

It’s a bit cold out there continued……
Snow has continued to fall over large areas of the UK recently creating further scenic photo opportunities.  A number of preserved locos have been out in action on a varitey of workings from Santa Specials to Engineering Trains…..

2011 Calendars

A number of group’s have produced 2011 Calendars to raise funds for their projects.  With Christmas only a few weeks away and for those looking for stocking fillers or something for the garden shed/dog house wall…….

Renown Repulse Restoration Group

The group still has a limited number of copies of its 2011 calendar available.  Entitled “Class 50 – The Final Years” this is a high quality A3 publication featuring lots of NSE goodness together with smatterings of large logo and the railtour favourite 50s.  It is available at £8 plus £3 P+P or collection in person from the RRRG sales stand which will be at Winchcombe station on the GWR for the diesel day on 27th December.  Full details on the RRRG website – www.renownrepulse.com.  Ideal Xmas present for yourself or the EE/50 fans you know!  RRRG greatly appreciates the support of those who have bought calendars to date as this product is a vital fundraiser for our efforts.

South Devon Diesel Traction

The South Devon Diesel Traction Group have produced an A3 full colour 2011 Calendar with 12 pictures of Class 33s in various locations in BR service.  The calendars are printed on high gloss card and despatched in reinforced envelopes.  All proceeds go to 33 002 “Sea King” the oldest Class 33 in preservation.  Only a handful of calendars remain and are available at £10 each or £12 each including P&P to UK Mainland.  Please email phil(AT)sddt.co.uk for further details or visit the group’s website

CFPS

The CFPS have produced a 2011 Calendar featuring lots of pictures of 40’s in action over the years.  The calendar is now available for £10 plus £2.50 postage and packing.  Further details can be found on the group’s website

Deltic 22

Celebrating 50 Years of 55022 – Featuring 12 fantastic photographs taken around the UK depicting 55 022 in action.
